Kajiranga Assam
Kaziranga National Park is one of India's most famous wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Centre World Heritage Site. Located in Assam along the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River, it is home to over two-thirds of the world's population of the endangered one-horned rhinoceros. The park is also a designated tiger reserve and supports rich biodiversity, including elephants, wild water buffalo, swamp deer, and more than 500 species of birds.

The climate of Kaziranga National Park is subtropical, with three distinct seasons: ☀️ Summer (March to May) Temperature: 25°C to 35°C Weather is warm and humid. Occasional thunderstorms provide some relief from the heat. 🌧️ Monsoon (June to September) Temperature: 24°C to 32°C Heavy rainfall due to the southwest monsoon. The park often experiences flooding from the Brahmaputra River, and many areas become inaccessible. ❄️ Winter (October to February) Temperature: 8°C to 25°C Cool, dry, and pleasant weather with clear skies. Ideal for wildlife safaris and birdwatching. Best Time to Visit The best time to visit Kaziranga is from November to April, when the weather is comfortable and wildlife sightings are at their best. During the monsoon season (June to September), the park remains largely closed because of heavy rains and flooding.
