Tabo
Tabo is a small town in the Lahaul and Spiti district on the banks of the Spiti River in Himachal Pradesh, India. The town lies on the road between Rekong Peo and Kaza, the sub-divisional headquarters of Spiti. The town surrounds a Buddhist monastery which, according to legend, is said to be over a thousand years old.

Summer (May to October): This is the best time to visit. Daytime temperatures range from a comfortable 15°C to 25°C, while nights drop significantly to 5°C to 10°C. The skies are usually clear, and the sun feels quite strong due to the high altitude. Winter (November to April): The region experiences sub-zero temperatures, often plunging as low as -15°C to -25°C at night. Snowfall is frequent, and many local roads and passes become inaccessible during this period.
